This global audio brand asked us to help digitally transform their international eCommerce platform and give customers a 21st century online retail experience. We created a digital design system, tightly integrated with an all-new technical platform built on Adobe’s Magento 2 Commerce.
Understanding and empathizing with the customer is the foundation to our process – we undertook a mammoth research phase across Europe and the US, including interviewing and user-testing the target audience, analysis of competitor customer experience, heat-mapping, user-journey mapping and much, much more.

We used movement throughout the experience to drive customer engagement and bring products to life. Smooth, slick animations convey the technical excellence and attention to detail found in Audio Technica’s product ranges.
With such a comprehensive product range, directing customers to the most suitable product for their particular requirements was a key challenge. The system of mega-menus combined with an intelligent search encourages browsing not only by product name, but by applications such as sports, gaming, commuting or podcasting.

We Integrated multiple payment, stock management and product registration systems for the European and the US regions which really proved the flexibility of the technical approach.
The extensive international user testing yielded excellent results, confirming we’d achieved our goal of improving the shopping experience considerably compared with the original eCommerce site.
